In the latest education ranking covering 89 countries worldwide, Azerbaijan is ranked 67th.

Modern.az reports, citing “U.S news”, that in the survey involving 17,000 respondents living in Europe and North America, our country dropped one position compared to 2023, falling from 66th to 67th place.

The top ten in the ranking include the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Canada, France, Switzerland, Japan, Australia, Sweden, and Denmark.

The last 10 positions are mainly occupied by developing countries: Honduras (89), Guatemala (88), Zimbabwe (87), Uzbekistan (86), Cambodia (85), Myanmar (84), Bangladesh (83), Cameroon (82), Panama (81), and Kazakhstan (80).

In the CIS region, Azerbaijan's position can be assessed as moderate. Russia is ranked 24th, Ukraine 53rd, and Belarus 63rd, with Azerbaijan trailing behind them. However, Kazakhstan (80) and Uzbekistan (86) are located in the lower part of the list, trailing behind Azerbaijan.

Among Turkic states, different results are observed. Turkey is ranked 31st, leading in the region. Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are in the lower ranks. Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan are not included in the list.

Overall, while Azerbaijan holds a moderate position in the global ranking, it lags behind developed countries and Eastern Europe. Nevertheless, it demonstrates better results compared to several developing countries, indicating the presence of potential in this area.
