An Azerbaijani student has been admitted to one of the world's most prestigious universities.
Modern.az reports that Eljan Asadli, a first-year student at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and a graduate of Zekalar Lyceum, has been admitted to the University of California, Berkeley, one of the leading higher education institutions in the USA.
He has made history as the first Azerbaijani to be admitted to the university's bachelor's program in "Political Science".
This university, one of the world's most prestigious higher education institutions, ranks 1st in the "Public University" category and is among the TOP 10 in global rankings.
It should be noted that Eljan Asadli is one of only two individuals who achieved this result as a graduate of a public school.
It is worth recalling that he was previously the only Azerbaijani admitted to Harvard University's summer school this year. Eljan Asadli has also received admissions from other prestigious higher education institutions, and the results of some of his applications are still pending.
