During a technical inspection conducted in the building of Mehdiabad settlement No. 3 full secondary general education school, operating under the Abşeron-Xızı Regional Education Department, cracks were identified in the walls.
Modern.az reports that the State Agency for Preschool and General Education (MÜTDA) has disseminated information regarding this.
It was stated that instructions were given to take immediate measures to prevent potential undesirable incidents and to ensure the safe operation of the school building.
Thus, effective from April 1, 2026, the activities of the educational institution have been temporarily suspended. To ensure the continuity of education, students are being redirected to other nearby general education institutions and involved in the learning process.
Currently, the Abşeron-Xızı Regional Education Department, in cooperation with relevant bodies, is continuing measures towards investigating the causes of the current situation and carrying out necessary repair and restoration works.
