According to the statistical indicators presented for the Education Student Loan (ESL) in Azerbaijan, the distribution by educational institutions and levels has been announced.
Modern.az reports that the Education Student Loan Fund (ESLF) has released information on this matter.
According to the information, a significant portion of ESL recipients are students in state educational institutions. Specifically, the number of students receiving ESL in state institutions is 62 150. In private educational institutions, this figure is 16 923. In the overall distribution, the public sector accounts for 78,6%, while the private sector holds a 21,4% share.
Regarding the distribution by levels, the highest indicator was recorded at the bachelor's degree level. In this category, 54 689 individuals benefited from ESL. At the master's degree level, 18 703 individuals, for secondary specialized education 5 061 individuals, and for vocational education 620 individuals were registered.
According to percentage indicators, bachelor's degree accounts for 69,2% of the total share, master's degree for 23,7%, secondary specialized education for 6,4%, and vocational education is represented by the lowest share.
