Within the framework of the digitalization of public services in Azerbaijan, new stages have been determined regarding the process of electronic document admission to the first grade of general education schools, lyceums, and gymnasiums, and the income tax declaration of individuals.
Modern.az reports that the integration of the first-grade admission service with the Electronic Government Information System (EHİS) is planned to be ensured by May 1, 2026.
Within the framework of the project, the existing workflow of the service will be submitted by May 20.
Additionally, it is planned to develop a new workflow, taking into account improvements, and agree upon it by June 13. The service is expected to be launched (in the operational environment) via the "mygov" platform by June 10.
In the implementation of the project, along with the Ministry of Science and Education, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport participates.
At the same time, steps are being taken towards the digitalization of the income tax declaration service for individuals. Thus, the integration of this service with EHİS is also planned to be ensured by October 1, 2026.
