One of the streets in Khankendi has been named after Enver Pasha.
Modern.az reports that Public TV has disseminated information about this.
It was reported that, by a relevant decision, one of the central streets of the city will bear the name of Enver Pasha.
It should be noted that Enver Pasha was one of the great socio-political and military figures of the Ottoman state. In 1918, a large part of Azerbaijan was established precisely by the order of Enver Pasha, the Ottoman Minister of War, and liberated from Armenian-Dashnak occupation by the Caucasian Islamic Army commanded by Nuru Pasha.
