A meeting is being held between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who is on a visit to Astana, and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
Modern.az reports that, according to Armenpress, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed Nikol Pashinyan at Akorda Palace, the residence of the President of Kazakhstan.
Following the official welcoming ceremony, a separate meeting was held between the Armenian Prime Minister and the Kazakh President, followed by an expanded meeting of the delegations.
The Armenian delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Zhanna Andreasyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khoudatyan, First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Gevorg Mantashyan, and other officials.
Kazakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Yermek Kosherbayev, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev, Chairman of the Atomic Energy Agency Almasadam Satkaliyev, Minister of Transport Nurlan Sauranbayev, and other officials are participating in the talks.
The agenda includes the deepening of cooperation between the two countries in economic, political, and other spheres, as well as issues of developing regional cooperation.
