Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam requested assistance from the US for progress in talks with Israel.
Modern.az reports, citing Al Arabiya, that according to the Prime Minister, despite repeated calls by Lebanese President Joseph Aoun to hold talks with Israel previously, the other side refused to engage in talks or reach an agreement.
The Prime Minister also emphasized that the Lebanese authorities "will not be left behind by the changes in the region this time".
