Social media phenomenon Murad Övüç has been arrested in Turkey due to a video he shared.

Modern.az reports, citing TRT, that he is accused of "inciting the public to hatred and enmity".

Within the scope of the investigation launched by the Istanbul Public Prosecutor's Office, the detained blogger Murat Övüç has been sent to prison by court order.
