Iran is effectively in a state of full-scale confrontation with the US, Israel, and Europe.
Modern.az reports that Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated this in an interview published on the official website of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
According to him, these states do not want Iran to develop independently and strongly.
The Iranian president noted that the country's military potential has significantly strengthened compared to previous periods, and Tehran is ready to respond more harshly in the event of possible attacks. He emphasized that the unity of Iranian society can prevent all foreign plans.
At the same time, Pezeshkian stated that Tehran is not interested in escalating tensions but will protect its national interests by all possible means. According to him, in addition to increasing its defense capabilities, Iran will continue cooperation with its allies in the region.
In his interview, the President also drew attention to the positive dynamics observed in Iran's relations with neighboring countries. He named Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and other states among the countries where cooperation in cultural and economic spheres has strengthened. Pezeshkian also stated that Iran has established “very good relations” with China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
