Appealed to Russian citizens: Proceed to Astara!

The Russian Embassy in Iran has urged its citizens to use optimal routes to leave the country.

Modern.az reports that citizens are advised to cross into Azerbaijan via the Astara border checkpoint and into Armenia via the Nurduz/Agarak border checkpoint.

It should be recalled that several thousand Russian citizens are currently reported to be in Iran.
