The Iranian government has declared 40 days of national mourning in connection with the death of the country's supreme religious leader Ali Khamenei.

Modern.az reports on this, citing Iran's state television.

According to the information, there will also be no work for seven days within the country.

Earlier, Iran's state media confirmed the death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
