US President Donald Trump has extended Novruz greetings to communities celebrating the Spring holiday.
According to Modern.az, the greeting states:
"To all Americans celebrating Novruz today, I extend my warmest wishes.
Novruz marks the beginning of the Persian New Year, heralds the arrival of spring, and symbolizes the eternal triumph of light over darkness. This ancient holiday is also an opportunity each year to reflect on the power of new beginnings.
As our just mission continues in the Middle East, I pray that this Novruz serves to promote the values of peace and human dignity both on American soil and throughout the world, and that the coming year may be one of abundance.
