On April 13, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in a working dinner with representatives of large employers in Armenia.
Modern.az reports with reference to Armenian media that economic issues were mainly discussed at the meeting.
Pashinyan stated that a new stage of development is beginning in connection with the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process.
He said: “We expect a number of major events related to the launch of the TRIPP project. This project is of great importance because Armenia will finally be completely out of the blockade. In fact, Armenia is already considered to have overcome the blockade, because railway cargo transportation through the territory of Azerbaijan is already possible and being carried out. At the same time, export transportation through Georgia is also possible until the TRIPP project is launched. The important point is that, according to the political agreement, this railway will never be closed. This is a reliable route for both import and export,” the prime minister said.
