US President Donald Trump addressed American servicemen on the aircraft carrier “USS George Washington” located in Japan.
Modern.az reports that Trump stated in his speech that his administration, which he led for eight months, had stopped eight international conflicts without resorting to military force.
According to him, these conflicts include the Kosovo–Serbia, Congo–Rwanda, Pakistan–India, Israel–Iran, Egypt–Ethiopia, Armenia–Azerbaijan confrontations, as well as the battles in the Gaza Strip.
“In just eight months, I ended eight wars. Presidents before us often started wars, but no one finished them,” Trump emphasized.
The US leader also noted the agreement signed in Malaysia between Cambodia and Thailand.
Trump stated that the main tools of his administration were “trade and tariffs”: “We saved millions of lives. We acted primarily with words, not with weapons.”
At the end of his speech, the President emphasized that the US military possesses the strongest armed forces in the world: “There is nothing comparable to the strength of our military. Neither our weapons nor our navy have an equal. US servicemen will become even stronger in the near future.”
