China's electric vehicle manufacturer XPeng has started trial production of flying cars.
Modern.az reports that the "Xinhua" agency disseminated information about this.
According to the information, "XPeng Aeroht", the company's flying car manufacturing division, has launched this process at the world's first intelligent serial production plant.
The plant is located in Guangzhou city, Guangdong province, and covers an area of 120 thousand square meters.
The production facility has already presented the first prototype of a modular flying car named "Land Aircraft Carrier". The main part of this vehicle consists of a detachable electric flight apparatus and has a vertical take-off and landing function.
According to the source, the plant's annual production capacity will be 10 thousand modules. Currently, 5 thousand units are planned for production in the initial stage. After reaching full capacity, the plant will be able to assemble one flight apparatus every 30 minutes.
