Successful talks were held in Baku between French and Azerbaijani diplomats.
Modern.az reports that France's Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Sophie Lagoutte, informed about this on a social network.
The Ambassador noted that the meeting was a continuation of the recent talks between the Presidents of France and Azerbaijan.
According to her, France's Presidential Advisor on European Affairs, Bertrand Buchwalter, and the Director of the European Department of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Brice Roquefeuil, visited Baku:
“France's Presidential Advisor on European Affairs, Bertrand Buchwalter, and the Director of the European Department of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Brice Roquefeuil, visited Baku. They discussed Azerbaijan–France relations and regional issues with Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan – Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Hikmet Hajiyev, and the President's Special Representative for Special Assignments, Elchin Amirbayov.”
