November 5 has been declared a day of mourning in Rome, the capital of Italy.

Modern.az reports that this was stated by Roberto Gualtieri, the Mayor of Rome.

He stated that it was decided to declare November 5 a day of mourning due to the death of a worker who was trapped under the rubble after a part of the historic building named “Torre dei Konti” in the Imperial Forum of the capital collapsed. The city of Rome shares the pain of this tragic loss with his family, colleagues, and everyone who loved him. Flags will be flown at half-mast on all municipal buildings in the capital.

It should be recalled that on November 3, a 66-year-old Romanian worker died after being trapped under the rubble when a part of the historic building named “Torre dei Konti”, built in the early 9th century, collapsed.
