The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has instructed the Istanbul Police Department to take statements from 6 individuals within the framework of the investigation conducted regarding the “İmamoğlu case”.
Modern.az reports that, according to the prosecutor's office's statement, among the individuals who will give statements are prominent journalists Soner Yalçın, Şaban Sevinç, Aslı Aydıntaşbaş, Ruşen Çakır, Yavuz Oğhan, and Batuhan Çolak.
Statements will be taken from them regarding charges of “publicly disseminating false information” and “aiding a criminal organization”.
It was stated that the process will be carried out at the Istanbul Police Department.
It should be noted that the journalists were taken from their homes to the police station this morning.
