Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Turkey's stance on the Russia-Ukraine war is of particular importance for Kyiv.
Modern.az reports that in his speech, he highly appreciated Ankara's steps taken in both political and humanitarian directions.
Zelensky said that Turkey's principled stance in the war against Russia is important for Ukraine:
“I express my gratitude to Turkey for supporting Ukraine's independence and sovereignty. We trust in the strength of Turkish diplomacy and its ability to be understood by Moscow.”
The President also noted that he hopes the processes related to prisoner exchange will be restored by the end of the year.
