From November 24, 2025, to January 31, 2026, a winter conscription and demobilization period will be announced in Armenia.
Modern.az reports, citing Armenian media, that the winter conscription for compulsory military service and alternative service will be announced for male citizens who turn 18 on or before December 31, 2025, as well as for those whose previously granted deferment from compulsory military service has expired.
As part of the 2025 winter conscription, women who have submitted an application for voluntary compulsory military service by October 1, 2025, will also be called up for military service.
As part of the 2025 winter conscription, military personnel who have completed compulsory military service or alternative military service within the periods established by law will be demobilized from the army by January 31, 2026.
Personnel who have completed alternative labor service within the specified period will be discharged from alternative labor service.
