Kazakhstan's first batch of grain has been delivered to Armenia. I express my gratitude to the Azerbaijani leader for the decision to lift restrictions and create conditions for direct bilateral trade through the territory of Azerbaijan.

Modern.az reports that this was stated by Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in a joint press statement with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Astana.

He noted that Kazakhstan is ready to regularly supply high-quality grain products and other goods to Armenia.

"We agreed to make all necessary efforts for the future development of this direction. One of the priority tasks is the opening of direct air communication and the organization of air cargo transportation between the two countries. Concrete plans already exist in this area, and the parties will begin implementing these plans in the near future,” – the President of Kazakhstan stated.

According to Tokayev, Kazakhstan is interested in participating in the “Tramp route” project. The Kazakh leader emphasized that the new geopolitical situation in the South Caucasus creates favorable conditions for establishing bilateral and interregional ties.

“We also confirm our interest in participating in the “Tramp route” project,” - Tokayev added.
