Russia and the US have approached a resolution to the Russia-Ukraine conflict; the parties need to make a final attempt.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov in an interview with local media.
"I believe that December 25, 2025, will remain in all our memories as a point where we truly approached a resolution, but will we be able to make the final attempt and reach an agreement? Well, that depends on the political will of the other side," the diplomat stated.
According to him, if the parties deviate from the issues agreed upon in Anchorage, no compromise will be possible.
He also added that Russia would like to see Ukraine as a friendly country.
