Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a statement regarding the attacks by the US and Israel against Iran.
Modern.az reports that he said that diplomatic initiatives would be strengthened to prevent further escalation of tension in the region.
“Simultaneously, we will accelerate our diplomatic efforts to first ensure a ceasefire and then return to the negotiating table,” – the President emphasized.
Erdoğan noted that all parties must act responsibly to prevent the war from escalating and the region from facing a larger confrontation. The head of state, stating that Turkey prefers the resolution of the problem through dialogue and diplomacy, announced that official Ankara would continue its activities in this direction.
