The Israeli army, citing Iran's retaliatory attack, has closed all crossing points into Gaza, including the Rafah Border Crossing, which was kept open for limited passages.
Modern.az reports that the Israeli army's Coordinator of Government Activities in the Palestinian Territories issued a statement regarding this.
The statement emphasized that all crossings, including the Rafah Border Crossing, which is considered Gaza's only gateway to the world, will remain closed until further notice.
It was claimed that Israel's decision to close all border crossings would not affect the humanitarian situation in Gaza, which is currently struggling with famine.
The Tel Aviv administration had opened the Rafah Border Crossing on the Egyptian border, which is Gaza's only border gate to the world, on February 2, solely for two-way passage of pedestrians. (TRT Haber)
