Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has vowed revenge for the killing of supreme religious leader Ali Khamenei.

"The hand of revenge of the Iranian nation will not let go of Khamenei's killers until they are severely, decisively, and regretfully punished," - the report stated.
The organization assessed the killing of the supreme religious leader as a clear violation of religious, moral, legal, and international norms.
The Iranian government also announced in a statement regarding Khamenei's death that the perpetrators would not go unpunished.
"With the support of the Islamic Ummah and freedom-lovers worldwide, we will make the perpetrators and masterminds of this great crime regret their actions," - the government statement noted.
It should be recalled that as a result of attacks on Iran by the US and Israel, Iran's State News Agency confirmed that Ali Khamenei had been killed. Earlier, US President Donald Trump had announced that Khamenei had been killed.
