“We have prepared for all scenarios, even for the death of Imam Khamenei,” said Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament.
Modern.az reports that, according to IRNA, Ghalibaf stated that the US and Israel have crossed the "red line” and must pay the price for it.
"For the Islamic Republic, this war is not merely about existence; the time for final revenge has come.
We will settle accounts with the Americans and Israelis. You have crossed our “red line” – we will inflict such devastating blows upon you that you will be forced to beg for mercy," Ghalibaf said.
Iran's Supreme Leader, Seyyed Ali Khamenei, was killed last night in his residence in Tehran as a result of US and Israeli airstrikes.
