The names of high-ranking officials killed in Iran as a result of attacks by the US and Israel have been announced.
Modern.az reports that the "Tasnim" agency disseminated information about this.
The list includes Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Major General Mohammad Pakpour, advisor to the supreme religious leader Ali Shamkhani, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, and Minister of Defense Amir Nasirzadeh.
It is noted that the names of other deceased individuals will be announced later.
It should be recalled that on February 28, the US and Israel launched a military operation against Iran, carrying out airstrikes on the republic's cities. In response, Iran launched missiles into Israeli territory. Furthermore, Iran's armed forces attacked fourteen US military bases located in Persian Gulf countries.
In connection with the situation in the Middle East, some countries in the region have temporarily closed their airspace.
