As a result of an airstrike launched by the Israel-US coalition on the city of Urmia in northwestern Iran, several residential buildings were damaged.
Modern.az reports that this was stated in the information provided by the “Tasnim” Agency.
The agency's report did not mention any casualties.
It should be noted that Urmia is a city primarily inhabited by Azerbaijanis.
Iran's Vice President Zahra Behrouzazar stated last week that at least 9669 civilian structures, including 7943 residential buildings, were damaged in the Islamic Republic during the US-Israel military operation. She specifically noted that 32 medical centers, 65 schools, and 13 Red Crescent centers were damaged.
