People's Artist, film director Şeyx Əbdül Mahmudbəyov was hospitalized a few days ago.
The People's Artist's health condition is serious. This was stated by the film director himself, who said in his statement to Modern.az that he is currently in the ward and receiving treatment:
“Diseases have become intertwined; I am suffering from several illnesses. I did not prevent any of them in time. I have bronchitis, prostate issues, gastrointestinal problems, and a slipped disc in my back; my legs are numb. For 3 days, analyses and examinations have been conducted. Today, treatment plans will be assigned, specifying which will be treated first, which later, and how...”.
Şeyx Əbdül said that he is receiving a lot of attention and care during this difficult time:
“I have many friends; they come and go. I have difficulty breathing, so visits are limited. But all my friends come and call. The Minister of Culture, the President of ARKA, the director of the film studio - all of them visited yesterday. They keep in touch. Thank God, they have pulled me out of the critical situation. My main bronchi and the drying out of my p cause me more suffering. Doctors have also been called from Turkey regarding my back. Attention and care are at a high level. There is a high directive for the hospital. The main thing is good health, and God's blessing.”
