Lithuania sent a note to Russia, sharply condemning the missile attacks against Ukraine and the resulting damage to the Azerbaijani embassy in Kyiv.

According to Modern.az, the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement regarding this.

Vilnius stated that the missile strike carried out by Russia on November 14 caused serious damage to the Azerbaijani embassy in Kyiv. Lithuania assessed this incident as a gross violation of the Vienna Convention.

“During the November 14 attack, a Russian missile hit the Azerbaijani embassy in Kyiv. This is an open aggression against the inviolability of diplomatic missions and a serious violation of the Vienna Convention. Lithuania expresses its full solidarity with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijani diplomatic representatives,” the official statement noted.

The Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that it considers Russia's continuous missile attacks to be contrary to international law and that such actions further escalate regional security. The Baltic country once again declared its full solidarity with both Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
