Israel's Foreign Minister Gideon Saar will visit Azerbaijan in the near future.
Modern.az reports that the minister stated this on his “X” social network. He noted that he met with Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and that a number of important issues were discussed between the parties.
According to the minister, the “Trump Plan” regarding Gaza, Azerbaijan–Armenia relations, bilateral cooperation, and the expansion of economic ties were among the main topics of discussion at the meeting.
He also emphasized that the tourist flow from Israel to Azerbaijan sharply increased in 2025, and joint steps would continue to be taken to promote this trend.
The head of the Israeli Foreign Ministry expressed his desire to visit Baku: “I look forward to visiting Baku soon. We will further strengthen our relations.”
The exact date of the visit has not yet been announced.
