Due to recent events in the Middle East, Baku-Nakhchivan-Baku bus services operating through the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran have ceased operations for security purposes.
This was reported by the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport in response to an inquiry from Modern.az.
On February 28, the 19:00 and 20:00 flights from Baku to Nakhchivan, the 21:00 flight from Baku to Sharur, the 15:30, 16:30, and 17:30 flights from Nakhchivan to Baku, as well as the 16:30 flight from Sharur to Baku, are temporarily postponed.
Further information regarding the resumption of Baku-Nakhchivan-Baku services will be provided to the public.
Should additional questions arise, passengers can contact AYNA's "141" Call Center.
However, there are no problems or restrictions regarding the passage of cargo vehicles through the Iran-Azerbaijan border. Regular contact is maintained with carriers, and the situation is under control. Should any changes occur, the public will be informed.
