Snow cover has been recorded in several areas of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
Modern.az reports that information on this was provided by the Hydrometeorology Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
It was reported that the height of the snow cover is 4 cm in Shahbuz district, 1 cm in Kangarli district, 3 cm in Axura village of Sharur district, 68 cm in Kükü village of Shahbuz district, 33 cm in Biçənək village, 1 cm in Göydərə village of Julfa district, and 34 cm at the Paragachay Avalanche Station.
In the area of the Paragachay Avalanche Station located at an altitude of 3000 meters, the actual snow cover height was recorded as 114 cm.
Currently, no snowfall is observed.
