The number of people who received disability status in Ukraine due to the war has increased from 2.7 million to 3.4 million, and the death-to-birth ratio has approached 3:1.
Modern.az reports that the country's former Prime Minister Anatoli Kinax made a statement regarding this.
"According to statistics confirmed by the Ministry of Justice, we registered approximately 100,000 newborns during the first six months of 2025. At the same time, approximately 249,000 deaths were recorded," Kinax noted.
He also noted that the total losses from the destruction of infrastructure (energy, transport, social, and industrial) are approaching a trillion dollars.
