President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov received Speaker of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova in Bishkek.
Modern.az reports that, according to the press service of the President of Kyrgyzstan, the prospects for the development of cooperation between the two countries in trade-economic, investment, energy and transport spheres were discussed at the meeting.
Sadyr Japarov emphasized the special nature of alliance relations with Azerbaijan. He noted the importance of consistent implementation of the agreements reached, including the agreement on alliance relations signed during President Ilham Aliyev's state visit to Kyrgyzstan in July this year.
Sahiba Gafarova conveyed President Ilham Aliyev's greetings and best wishes to the head of state and people of Kyrgyzstan.
The Speaker of the Milli Majlis stated that bilateral relations, including inter-parliamentary ties, are developing dynamically, and emphasized the importance of further strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
