It has been alleged that the Ukrainian authorities are behind the attacks carried out by unmanned aerial vehicles on cargo ships in the Sea of Azov.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin in an interview with journalists within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
"We know very well who attacks peaceful civilian ships in the Black Sea and Mediterranean Sea aquatories with air and sea drones," he said.
Galuzin also offered his condolences to the family members and relatives of the Azerbaijani sailors who died as a result of the incident.
It should be noted that on June 5, at night, the cargo ships "Natra" and "Zirkon" were attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles in the Taganrog Bay of the Sea of Azov. As a result, two foreign cargo ships with 25 Azerbaijani citizens were attacked by drones, and 5 of our citizens died.
