Iran has announced that a special approach is being applied to Russia regarding passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
Modern.az reports that Iran's ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, told journalists about this on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
“Undoubtedly, we apply a special regime for friendly countries regarding the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz. However, the final decision will be made by our government and announced,” the ambassador emphasized.
Jalali noted that the final decision on the matter will be made by the Iranian government.
