A new claim has emerged regarding the iPhone series, which Apple is expected to introduce in 2027 and is said to be dedicated to the company's 20th anniversary.
Modern.az reports that the company is testing an iPhone model with the largest screen in its history. Digital Chat Station, a famous Chinese leak source, stated that Apple is currently testing a screen of approximately 6.96 inches. It is claimed that the company may present this size as 7 inches for marketing purposes. For comparison, the screen of the current iPhone 17 Pro Max model is 6.86 inches. This means that the diagonal size of the screen in the new model will increase by approximately 2%. Although the difference may not seem large, it can provide a wider viewing area during daily use.
It is currently unknown whether Apple has finally approved this screen size. Therefore, there is still a possibility that the project may be changed at the final stage. Previous reports also claimed that the 2027 iPhone models would feature a four-sided curved screen design and one of the biggest design innovations to date.
It should be noted that Apple last increased the iPhone screen size in 2024. At that time, the iPhone 16 Pro Max model was increased from 6.7 inches to 6.9 inches, and the iPhone 16 Pro was increased from 6.1 inches to 6.3 inches. Digital Chat Station has previously been known for a number of accurate predictions regarding Apple products.
