Armenian Security Council Secretary Alen Simonyan said that his relations with his predecessor Armen Grigoryan are good.
Modern.az reports that Simonyan spoke about this in a conversation with journalists.
He stated that he continues his friendly relations with Armen Grigoryan.
“Armen is one of the rare people with whom I have never had even a bitter conversation,” Simonyan said.
The statement was made during the presentation of Armen Grigoryan's book “Take a step, reject Serzh”. Simonyan personally attended the presentation.
He also stated that he was invited to Armen Grigoryan's wedding ceremony on September 5.
It should be noted that Armen Grigoryan served as the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia for approximately 8 years. On August 13, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced his resignation. After that, former Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Alen Simonyan was appointed as the Secretary of the Security Council.
Pashinyan stated at the time that he was not dissatisfied with Grigoryan's activities and considered the change normal within the framework of existing political processes.
