The Israeli army has suffered another loss in the combat zone in southern Lebanon.
Modern.az reports that, according to the army's press service, 27-year-old reserve Major Itamar Sapir, who served as deputy company commander in one of the battalions of the 551st special forces brigade, has died.
The cause of his death has not been disclosed.
According to “The Times of Israel” newspaper, 8 Israeli soldiers have died in southern Lebanon since the ceasefire between Israel and the Shiite organization Hezbollah came into effect.
