Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan visited newly constructed reinforced concrete fortifications in areas bordering Azerbaijan.
Modern.az reports that, according to the Armenian Ministry of Defense, Papikyan familiarized himself with the work being carried out in the area and monitored the progress of the construction process.
The minister was briefed on the work done, the current state of the construction process, and the measures being taken to increase the defense capabilities of the area.
In recent years, Armenia has been implementing various projects to strengthen its military infrastructure along the border with Azerbaijan. Within this framework, work is being carried out to create new positions, construct engineering structures, and establish concrete fortifications along the border line.
