The Ground Forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (SEPAH) conducted an operation against a terrorist group hiding in a mountainous area in the west of Rask district of Sistan and Baluchestan province.
Modern.az reports with reference to APA that, according to SEPAH Ground Forces, the said terrorist group was identified and neutralized as a result of a sudden operation.
As a result of the operation, 2 people were killed, and several more were reported to be pursued.
The group is said to have participated in a number of terrorist acts in the province, including the killing of one of the local SEPAH employees.
The said group planned to attack the forces involved in ensuring security in the province in the coming days.
