The co-pilot of a Flydubai plane planned to hijack the plane with the aim of crashing it into the terminal of Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv.
Modern.az reports that Israel's Channel 12 television reported this.
According to the information, Indian pilot Smit Machhar stated during interrogation that he intended to carry out his plan while the plane was flying over Jordan, near the Israeli borders. However, his plan failed due to the captain's intervention.
It should be noted that on September 30, a Flydubai plane flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv made an emergency landing at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia due to an incident. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
