The General Civil Aviation Authority of the United Arab Emirates has completed the evacuation of passengers from cancelled Flydubai flights from the country to Israel.
Modern.az reports that “Khaleej Times” published information about this.
According to the information, 37 flights have been carried out from Dubai to Ben-Gurion Airport in Israel since October 2. A total of 7,479 passengers used these flights. It is noted that the flights organized to transport passengers to Israel were carried out by “Etihad Airways” and Israeli airlines. The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority stated that “Etihad Airways” continues its flights to Tel Aviv.
It should be recalled that the UAE airline “Flydubai” suspended flights to Tel Aviv at the request of the authorities. The reason for this was an incident that occurred on one of the airline's planes. On September 30, a “Flydubai” plane flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv made an emergency landing at Tabuk airport in Saudi Arabia due to a security incident. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Saudi Arabia issued a statement on October 1, confirming that the cause of the incident was the attack of the co-pilot on the aircraft commander.
