Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron.
Modern.az reports that Zelensky informed about this on his Telegram channel.
The parties discussed problems related to easing sanctions against Russian oil products, as well as issues of preparing for a meeting of Ukrainian and French representatives.
Zelensky said that the conversation took place at the time when Kyiv was hit by ballistic missiles.
The Elysee Palace also released information about the phone conversation. However, as "Le Monde" newspaper noted, Macron's statement did not mention the agreement between Trump and Putin regarding diesel fuel.
At the same time, the statement says that Macron expressed solidarity with Zelensky in the context of the strikes on Ukraine.
