Modern.az reports that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in a statement to NBC News.
According to Zelensky, he is responsible for the fate of the country as long as Russia's aggression continues.
"Because I must defend my country from the beginning to the end of this war. If Russia agrees to a full ceasefire for two months, presidential elections will be held in Ukraine. We will be ready to accept any choice of the Ukrainian people," Zelensky said.
