US President Donald Trump has again criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, accusing him of not wanting to end the conflict.
Modern.az reports that Trump wrote about this on his social media account.
"Zelensky doesn't want to end the war and most likely never wanted to," the US leader said.
Trump also noted that Zelensky is targeting oil refineries in Russia and knows that these attacks have caused serious damage to world markets, including the US market.
The US President claimed that Zelensky could have reached a more favorable agreement two years ago than he can now.
"His country has been turned into ruins, a large part of its territory has been lost, it has lost access to seas and oceans, and its male population is decreasing - people are being wounded or killed," Trump emphasized.
Trump expressed his dissatisfaction with Zelensky's unwillingness to reach peace agreements and suggested that he never sought to resolve the conflict. The US leader said that Ukraine needs a new leader who can reach an agreement with Russia.
