Pezeshkian Responds to Putin's Offer

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said he looks forward to his visit to Russia to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Modern.az reports that he spoke about this in response to a statement by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.

During a meeting in Tehran, Lavrov told the Iranian president that Putin was expecting him at the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) summit.

“Convey my greetings to Russian President Vladimir Putin. We also look forward to our upcoming visit to Russia and hope to meet soon,” Pezeshkian replied.
