Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has warned that new targets could be identified amid tensions with the United States.
Modern.az reports that the corps' spokesman, Hossein Mohebbi, made a statement about this.
He stated that seven important internet cables pass under the Strait of Hormuz, and this infrastructure is of great importance for international communication.
"New targets and new weapons will be introduced," Mohebbi emphasized.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump announced that Washington continues economic and military pressure on Iran.
The Iranian side's statements were made against the backdrop of ongoing military-political tensions in the Middle East.
